Yeah, the calloused attitudes towards those who suffer hardship get on my very last nerve! Don't people realise THEY could be without a job due to circumstances beyond their control?. Don't people realise that the economy isn't exactly robust right now, and hasn't been for a good few years? Don't people realise that there are those who have no immediate or maybe even extended family members that can help absorb some of monetary deficiency in the lives of others? Don't people realise that they aren't in a position to condesend to ANY human being when they don't have enough information about an individual's life to draw the shortsighted and oversimplified conclusions that they do?.Don't some of these same people stop and consider that maybe they have mismanaged their own personal finances to the point of being three steps away from skid row themselves, but only for the padded pocket of family and friends that THEY have remained afloat and in somewhat stable condition, sparing them from having to rely on gov. assistance? I also see this same attitude directed toward the plight of others who experience severe hardship on a global scale. And mostly it is due to the corruption on the part of the powers that be the world over. Yeah, this rant will never be over for me. - JB
