Because my landlord didn't paint the house, the housing authority will stop paying its portion of my rent & they're issuing me a voucher to find another place. We have 90 days. I still have to pay my portion of the rent. I can't afford to move or to hire help, my credit is awful, and hardly anyone will rent to someone on section 8 who has dogs.

Rogue landlords must have global conferences and discuss how to screw tenants, they do a pretty good job over here messing with us too, so sorry, hope you find a resolution to the problem and hopefully you will not have to move.

They are penalizing him. They pay around 40% of my rent, and they aren't paying it anymore because of the paint. But they can't have me living in a unit that isn't meeting HUD standards. So I can take my voucher anywhere that accepts section 8, as long as there's at least 2bdr and rent no more than $1365.
