There is no such thing as a tame wild animal. EVER. There are docile wild animals. There are tolerant wild animals. There are no wild animals that are safe.
Honestly I don't know why your parents are so apologetic to her.
- Chris Topher
It only ends up making her behavior worse, and your parents make their ability to discipline her that much harder. Besides, I am very firm with her and she still loves me :)
- Chris Topher
I mean she either looks stupidly happy or thoroughly depressed, so I get that she looks sad when you say no to her. But yeah, she listens to you and loves you and you're the strictest person she knows! She also loves the physical therapist, who I imagine is also no nonsense.

I have had that a few times. I think maybe they are surprised they are talking to someone who actually knows what they want? >.>
- Chris Topher
Well part of it was my email, I was too quiet and I had to correct her a few times. Then I talked with an Irish guy who kept saying "You know what I mean?" Btw, SWTOR can't freeze accounts but if you tell them you'll be away for a while they can refund time at the end if you haven't logged in. But they can't do it "all the time". :)

At my parents house. I'm in charge of helping my dad with his PT (new knee) and burning off some of the dog's hyperactivity. Why do I keep thinking being at home is like a vacation?
No, considering one stipulation is that they have to be over 34 years of age. That limits the candidate pool down to maybe 1000 or so tops, and there are other stipulations that also have to be considered, such as native citizenship, which a corporation doesn't have.

Corporations are not people; they have the rights of personhood.

Oh fine, be reasonable. But I think it would be a fun ad campaign. :)

You know when you connect two dots and feel like an idiot for not doing it sooner? I've been stressing over a Mother's Day present and what to add to my Amazon order. DERP!
Earlier today my laptop was low on battery and suddenly zonked out. Like shut off instead of going to sleep. Is this a thing that can happen sometimes or a sign of the coming End?
I haven't had that happen. When my laptop shuts down spontaneously, it's usually because of heat or insufficient memory.

I tend to see that when a battery is on its last legs and isn't reporting remaining time accurately. You can change you power setting to sleep at a higher percentage.

Herm... It might be time to break out the 'splody battery. (I never sent in my "bad" battery when Apple did the free new one thing. I figured I'd save it for just in case my new one conked out.)

Early #SaturdayFF (because waiting would just mean I forget). On the inner part of my left eyebrow the hairs point up. I've never really acknowledged why, but in high school I read in a magazine how to pluck your eyebrows. I got a little carried away and plucked away part of my eyebrow that was supposed to be there.
Chris is upstairs cleaning and I'm sitting on my lazy butt because I stress him out when I try to help. So I'm trying to figure out what to do in the meantime...
Rearranging my bag of craft stuff so it's not spilling all over counts as cleaning, right? I so need to get a better storage solution. #ContainerStoreAnyone?
- Heather
My Amazon total is $24.02. EEP!!! I need to spend $0.98 more cents for free shipping, but I can't go over $30 (my current balance) and the only cheap stuff on my list I don't want to buy yet. Shopping isn't a sport, it's a math based logic game.
Ok, I bought one of the things in my cart at the grocery store, so I have to do this again. Maybe I should just wait a few days an I'll think of something. Also, the price of the CD in my cart keeps going down. This is acceptable.

One part was using fire control in Yellowstone and I thought of a very esteemed FFer who kicked the butt of a wildfire. She deserves a lot of respect for the hard work she puts in just to put herself in danger. *salute*

So I just got my "CLEAN ALL THE THINGS!".... 2 am is not a great time for this. Poor Chris was trying to go to bed and I made him help me empty the dishwasher. I finished emptying it, washed the things that weren't all the way clean, and loaded it.
