So we agreed that I'd tell her hubby it had sold and I'd make him another (but I'd drag my feet on the making). I secreted the piece to their house during a holiday party and she said she'd get me a check. A day or two after Christmas I received a check FROM HIM, on his business account. Hehe. It wont be too bad really. The turkey legs will come already smoked, I'll just wrap them individually and heat them on site. I can do shepard's pie ahead of time and freeze it.
