I really like Capaldi as the Doctor and Mummy on the Orient (the latest I've seen) is really well written. Jamie Mathieson seems to really get this regeneration. I hope he gets to write more! (I know he write the most recent episode which I haven't watched yet, I hope I won't be disappointed)

So I got the newest mini. I could have waited but frankly I think the difference will be negligible this time around since so much went into phones. After playing with it the size didn't bother me the screen is rad etc...

So the comedy club I volunteer at is a non-profit organization. Our big yearly event, an all women comedy festival, starts next week and some dude decided he was going to protest it because it is sexist. That is fine he said he would protest quietly, if he wants to be wrong good for him. But then he ripped down all of our posters

And replaced then with his photoshopped offensive posters. Those posters aren't cheap and we ran out, so he effectively screwed up one of our chief ways of advertising (huge foot traffic area). Not to mention a LOT or work and money went into those posters. People suck.

I have an iPad 2. The hardware is still viable. The trouble is whether developers and Apple decide to support it. If you have enough $ to buy every app you want right now, go ahead. If not, maybe go with the Air because it'll be supported longer.

Based on a documentary I watched last night it takes about a year to build a tiny home with minimal help. I wonder how quick it could be done if you planned ahead and got most of the materials in advance and had a reasonable amount of friend help. Hmm

That seems excessive, but I guess it depends on the amenities and zoning requirements. I've been around several year-round camp constructions (basically a small studio), and they can be done in 3 months with 3 guys, weekends only. Of course, that's with a plan, minimal wiring & plumbing, and materials.

(It took over a year, but that was because the first few months, he was harvesting his own timber, and he left for the winter.) And it is also kind of a documentary, though he shot it himself.

I have a friend that's working as a virtual assistant & she seems to enjoy it. You can set your own hours, rates. I think she's advertising through a variety of places (Elance, ODesk, Fiverr) and I've referred a couple people to her.

If you're a patient person and good at explaining technical issues without talking down to people, I would recommend marketing yourself to folks over 65. Many of them need help with various computer tasks for their businesses or hobbies, or they need to learn how to use a smartphone, tablet, social media, etc.
