yeah, but I don't like the mini, screen size is something I enjoy. I had an android that was the same size as a mini and it wasn't for me.. I'm going to reach out and see what she is comfortable with. She usually takes good care of me with the bonuses. Retina makes a huge difference in long writing session, at least to my 60yo eyes. iOS 8's extensions have changed the way I use my iPad- it really opens out a lot of new ways to share and combine material from different apps. So, it's worth getting something where iOS 8 will run comfortably. - Technodad

Congrats! I have the 64GB iPad 2 but I keep things in control by not storing my photos on here and by swapping out music, videos, books, etc. as I need them. I haven't completely filled it yet but I keep from doing that by just being assiduous about only loading what I'm likely to use. Nice thing about the newer iPads is finally having a decent camera, I suspect. The camera is the one thing I've "outgrown" on my iPad 2. - Spidra Webster
