Anyone write on their iPad? If so what do you use? Is Google good, or pages? Or do I need to shell out for office?
I can write short emails on my iPad, but I'd rather not write any substantial on it. - Back to just Joe
I bought a cheap BT keyboard on eBay for longer writing. Haven't used it enough yet to reach any conclusions. - Andrew C (see frenf.it)
I've written notes in SuperNote. I've also used the Notes app. I had a huge problem this summer when I didn't know that hooking my Yahoo Mail account to my iPad would "sync" my Notes. By "sync" they meant that when I deleted my Yahoo Mail account that it would delete my Notes too! So the #1 thing I'd look into is making sure that whatever app it is doesn't have that stupid default. And that it's backing the notes up somewhere besides in your iOS synch because it is VERY difficult to get particular things out of that backup. I had to pony up for a 3rd party app that could do it. It was a clusterfuck of tech difficulties for a while there. - Spidra Webster
I've never done any special writing on iOS. Nothing that needed much formatting. So now when I'm researching I write in SuperNote and in Evernote. When Scrivener is released for iOS, I'll probably get that. http://www.literatureandlatte.com/about... - Spidra Webster
There are a couple people in my writing group who write on their iPads. I know the one guy uses Pages; I think the other person may do the same, but not certain. They seem to like it. - Corinne L
