"Talented Lego builder and Doctor Who super fan Thorsten Bonsch spent three years perfecting his all-brick tribute to the Doctor's TARDIS before unveiling it online for fellow brick fans. Bonsch modeled his MOC — Lego fan-speak for "My Own Creation" — after the 11th Doctor's first TARDIS console room. The futuristic set, designed by Edward Thomas, debuted in Series 5, which featured Matt Smith as the titular Doctor."

"OLD RASPUTIN RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT Produced in the tradition of 18th Century English brewers who supplied the court of Russia's Catherine the Great, Old Rasputin seems to develop a cult following wherever it goes. It's a rich, intense brew with big complex flavors and a warming finish. The Old Rasputin brand image is a drawing of Rasputin with a phrase in Russian encircling it—A sincere friend is not born instantly. How hard it is to make and keep a good friend. –"Jericho," Joni Mitchell"

"Long time ago I wrote a script to download your own Friendfeed stream, complete with all the media files (and even to re-render it in a HTML form so to have a "printed copy" with the same identical UI). Hope you'll use it https://github.com/claudio..."

Does that usually happen there or did the inmate just happen to get the opportunity while in that part of town?

All county prisoners are brought to this hospital for treatment. I'm sure it was bound to happen at some time. So far he is still on the run, but they called off the search.

Yeah, I saw the headline. Yeesh. Child molester bold enough to fight a guard? Yikes.

"Last year, SanDisk released 128GB memory cards for phones and tablets; this year, it’s following up with a 200GB card. Called the Ultra microSDXC UHS-I, Premium Edition , the tiny card can store 20 hours of full HD video and transfer up to 1,200 photos in one minute thanks to the 90MBps transfer speeds. Before you get too excited for this little wonder, it comes with a big price tag: Expect to see the 200GB memory card in the next quarter with a suggested retail price of $399.99. Hopefully, the street price comes down quickly since this phone or tablet accessory can cost more than a mobile device."

"No one explains security, privacy, crypto and safety better than Bruce Schneier, and while he's been talking about this subject for decades, it's never been more relevant, as his new guide to the post-Snowden world Data and Goliath demonstrates."

"It's a sentiment that Nimoy himself reflected upon on Twitter this past Sunday, in his very last post. "A life is like a garden," he wrote. "Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory." That's what we'll have to do, then."

The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are nice, but if Samsung is going towards no more battery changes and no more microsd, I might as well go with a Nexus 6. Same size.. decent hardware, less bloat.
"A Feb 2015 paper published by North Carolina State and Cornell biologists finds seminal fluid to be way more than just a medium for sperm. It helps create an important "post-copulatory" environment because of "plasma proteins [that] play critical roles in modulating female reproductive physiology." The paper -- "On a Matter of Seminal Importance" -- earns bonus points for awesome graphics and puns."

"Today marks the fortieth anniversary of Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti, a phenomenal double album that included, among other songs "Houses Of The Holy," "In The Light" and, of course, the monumental "Kashmir." Tomorrow we'll have an interview up with Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, who tells us all about how the album came together. But in the meantime, we can't think of a better way to mark the milestone than with this genuinely incredible performance of "Kashmir," along with a medley of "The Ocean" and "Immigrant Song," by the Louisville Leopard Percussionists, a group of about 60 seven to 12-year-olds from several different schools in Kentucky. The group, which must have the coolest band director on the planet, originally recorded the performance last fall, but Page himself recently posted it to his personal Facebook page, saying it's "too good not to share!" We agree."
