Found Pluto.tv on the Amazon Fire TV. They have channels dedicated to certain things, like a 24x7 Katty Perry channel, Cats 24hr, Dogs 24hrs, and old cartoons. Looks like I found something to have up and running in the background as I work at home.

Canada's new surveillance bill eliminates any pretense of privacy - Boing Boing - http://boingboing.net/2015...
"Michael Geist writes, "Canada's proposed anti-terrorism legislation is currently being debated in the House of Commons, with the government already serving notice that it plans to limit debate. That decision has enormous privacy consequences, since the bill effectively creates a 'total information awareness' approach that represents a radical shift away from our traditional understanding of public sector privacy protection."" - CW

If a Startup Founder Does This, Don’t Take the Job - http://blog.kirigin.com/percent...
"If you’re offered a job at a startup, your offer probably comes with a stock grant. If you don’t know how much of the company you’re getting, this grant number has almost no information. You need to know what percentage of the company you’re getting. Founders know this, so they sometimes lie by omission to pay you less. This isn’t ethical and you shouldn’t work for such founders. Not knowing how much of the company your'e getting is like being told you’ll get 100,000 units of currency every year, but not which currency. US Dollars? Zimbabwe Dollars? You have no idea what you’re getting. This currency analogy is apt because stock inflation has no cost at the founding of a company. You can form a company and just pick the number of shares to be whatever you want. It can be 10K or 10B. There are a few ways to package this information. Let’s walk through them so you can understand your job offer." - CW

Tinder For Tech Jobs: 5 Apps Better Than LinkedIn - InformationWeek - http://www.informationweek.com/it-life...
"Poachable is a compelling concept. It is a site for people who already have a job, who are happy with the job they've got, but could be persuaded to go for the right kind of job. You fill out your profile with your work history and other questions. Then, you fill out a questionnaire saying what kind of job would make you consider leaving your present position. You can fill in a salary or responsibilities or a title (or, of course, all three) that would get you to make a career move. You can look at companies and jobs curated by the site. If companies are interested, they can click on your profile, but they will see only basic information about you at first, nothing to identify you. Just work history and what you are looking for. If there is mutual interest, they can contact you and you can agree to share more information. You can back out at any point in the process and your information returns to being private. In my mind, if the first apps are like Tinder for Jobs, this is like Match.com for jobs. It matches people on “deep levels of compatibility” and seeks to build lasting relationships. But it does so with an eye toward your privacy and the delicacy of considering another job while you currently have one." - CW

Tinder For Tech Jobs: 5 Apps Better Than LinkedIn - InformationWeek - http://www.informationweek.com/it-life...
"Jobr is one of the "Tinder for Jobs" apps. It is a mobile app that pulls your work history, picture, and profile directly from LinkedIn. It serves up jobs to you like a dating profile. If you swipe right, recruiters have the option of swiping right and contacting you as well. One criticism of Jobr is that, by posting your picture and your name for recruiters from the beginning, it encourages recruiting to be a little too much like dating, with attractive applicants potentially being given preference. Still, there's great appeal in the ease of the process." - CW

Burnie Is An All Wood Self-Burning Grill | Cool Material - http://coolmaterial.com/gear...
"Burnie is an all natural, chemical free grill made with 100% alder wood (the body and the charcoals) that’s designed to completely burn itself out. There’s no clean up except for the wrapper. It doesn’t require any lighter fluid thanks to the removable wick. There are two different sizes with varying weights and burn times. The Large Burnie weighs 5.5lbs and burns for 2.5hrs. Medium Burnie will keep things cooking for 1.5hrs and weighs 3lbs. Based on the ancient Nordic technique for burning wood stumps, Burnie is the perfect grill for those of you that don’t feel like dealing with tinder, portable grills and bags of charcoal when you want a fire for s’mores, sausages, burgers or jiffy pop." - CW

California confirms 107 cases of measles, 39 from Disneyland outbreak | Reuters - http://www.reuters.com/article...
"Feb 9 (Reuters) - A total of 107 cases of measles have been confirmed in California, more than a third of them linked to an outbreak that began in Disneyland in late December, state health officials said on Monday. More than three dozen additional cases of the highly infectious disease have been reported in 19 other states and in Mexico, including three new cases diagnosed in Cook County, Illinois. Seven of the eight cases so far found in Cook County are associated with a daycare center in the city of Palatine. Georgia health officials reported that an infant arriving in Atlanta from outside the United States was confirmed to have measles, marking the state's first reported case of the disease since 2012. The Georgia case is unrelated to a California outbreak that health officials believe began with a person from outside the United States who visited the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim in late December. Georgia health officials are working with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to identify anyone who may have been exposed to measles from the infant, the Georgia Department of Public Health said. According to the California Department of Public Health, 39 of the state's 107 confirmed cases have been linked to the Disneyland cluster. The measles outbreak has renewed a debate over the so-called anti-vaccination movement in which fears about potential side effects of vaccines, fueled by now-debunked research suggesting a link to autism, have led a small minority of parents to refuse to allow their children to be inoculated. Some parents also opt not to have their children vaccinated for religious or other reasons. Measles was declared eliminated in the United States in 2000 after decades of intensive childhood vaccine efforts. But last year, the country had its highest number of measles cases in two decades. Most people recover from measles within a few weeks, although it can be fatal in some cases.
