RT @notallbhas: ICYMI: Bill Maher compared Zayn Malik to Boston Marathon bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. How hilarious. How edgy. Right? http://t.co/CZAB7e3Whl
The dude next door is listening to reggae & drinking beer while he plays with his RC cars. This is the same thing Adrian used to d. I told Adrian about this guy the other night, he's like, "Why didn't you tell me? We could be friends!" But in the 16 mos. they've lived here, Adrian has never talked to the dude. Why? HE DOESN'T GO OUTSIDE!
He truly is a vampire. He will not go outside until it's dark. HAHAHA He's still sleeping now and probably won't get up until around 2pm anyway.

I had the funniest dream. I was a pro video gamer & in some large resort spa playing a game when I heard my son screaming my name, "Help me! It melted!" over and over. I thought it was a bug & raced to save him. I got to him and he was in a urinal. He looked at me, "I thought my penis melted, but it was just peanut butter on my finger."
I just spent a few moments on Facebook & I'm shuddering all over the place. People who rarely to never interact with me here have sent friend requests there. That's fucking creepy.
I'd give anything for an 'ignore' button that was actually useful. Like sent a note saying, "This person is totally skeeved out by your request, you FREAK!".

I'm the type who always waits for others to friend her first because I'm too lazy to actually seek people out. At least, that's how I am on Facebook. :)

Anti-blackness amongst Asians is very common. I found this to be fairly typical of things I've seen and dealt with in my life. One common thing I see online, especially in regard to the lack of black people in tech, are Asians who say they worked hard to get where they are, but the black people are just AA hires. Like black people don't work hard to get where they are.

"Despite the hilarity of the post, some netizens were critical of Korea's state of fashion as top comments read, "Proof that we're slave to trends, when something is the trend, we all rush to buy it. When it's no longer a trend, we throw it away. Basically, we care a lot about how other people view our fashion," "People should seek to express their individuality [through fashion,] but here, everyone just follows the trend," and, "It even applies for chips. We freaking cry over honey butter chips.""

They're in my neighborhood now. I just told Adrian, "The white people are coming! Go greet your people!" HAHAHA Last time they came through my neighborhood, residents snapped pictures and FB went wild with plans to keep them out.

I don't see a difference between this flag and the ones of the Third Reich. They stand for the same thing: Genocide. The fact that it's allowed to be flown, added into state flags and defended is one of many reasons the US is full of shit when it comes to moral standing.

Mandy's #SaturdayFF (http://friendfeed.com/starmam...) reminds me of the time my friend and I saw the Violent Femmes for free. It was college and I had to interview them for a story I was doing. They were playing at Bridges Auditorium & public transpo was the pits.
I asked a friend for a ride and to wait for me. She was something of a wanderer. If you told her to stay put for 5 minutes, you're going to spend the next hour looking for her. I got into the theatre, ID'd myself and was taken to some seats to wait for the group. My appt. was at 2 and around 2:15pm, I started getting annoyed at them being late. Suddenly, I the lady came over and told me they were running late and asked if I could stay during the sound check. That was a lot longer than what I told my friend, so just as I was about to get up to go outside to tell her of the change, I notice that she's actually dancing across the stage as it's being set up.

I was using this site as a bookmarker mainly because tumblr, twitter and flickr searches often fail me. Granted, search here rarely worked, so it was frustrating but when it did, I could run through my list and screen cap pages. Still. Everything's on an external drive and I'm not sure I want to put it all back on my computer for those just in case moments.

"In one of the most image-conscious cities on earth, France’s Parliament has moved to make it a crime to use anorexic models or encourage anorexia, as authorities try to crack down on the glorification of dangerously thin women. Other countries including Israel and Spain have taken similar action. The French measures would only apply within France, but could have symbolic impact beyond, because of its outsized influence in setting style trends around the world."
