I still get really nervous before I teach a class, but they seem to end in applause so I'll take that as a sign of flying right.

I still get nervous before teaching and I've now been doing it since 2004. I have to teach a first-year workshop on friday and if I think about it too much, I could get myself worked up about it now. :)

Yes! Once I start it's fine, but maybe that butterflies in the stomach part is just being human. Good luck on Friday! :)

I think if you weren't nervous, you'd take it for granted and then do a poor job. Being nervous shows you care! :)

I always tell myself the butterflies are just my excitement, not nervousness. Seems to help. :)

I find I get nervous after the presentation, but not during. It's a "What did I just do?" type of feeling.
