NYE last year I was broke, terrified, about to lose everything in my life, spending the night with my soon-to-be-ex. This NYE, I'm broke, happy, fulfilled, and going to spend the night with the love I thought I'd lost forever. I can barely even comprehend how much has changed, how much I've changed. 2010, I'll remember you fondly always.

I was a hobo, I found a calling, I met so many new friends, saw so many old friends, danced in at least 10 states - alone, with strangers, with friends, in the rain, snow, hail, in front of the Capitol, under the redwoods, around the world's largest covered wagon. I went to Frederick Douglass' house, and Lincoln's, and Mary Carmen's, I learned to make killer cheesecake and how to drive in the snow. I realized that I never stopped being in love with the One Who Got Away, and then he became The One I Got Back. What a year...

I went to a friend's wedding for the first time, and I went to the best wedding in the history of man. The first of my college friends got pregnant... I became willing to get married myself, something I never thought would happen. I got a job I enjoy, also totally unexpected. I figured out why I'm so crazy, and what to do about it, something I've been trying to do for my entire life. Woohoo!
