I bought a shirt and I think a few other folks purchased FF swag there as well. I wish the person who'd set it up had chosen different women's shirts, as the tees are all junior sizing (and therefore may not fit the juicier, more voluptuous ladies of FF). I went with the mens XL for a shirt and it fits, albeit on the roomy side.

Wednesday morning went late. It almost did not do so. The sunrise was nice, but it is better that I not see it so often.
I just have this feeling that Tuesday will not go so well. Its ominous beginning makes me hopeful that I will not be homeless by noon.

This 30 for 30 on Christian Laettner explains why I have disliked Duke men's basketball since 25 years ago. What is good about this film is that it is not all about that one shot against Kentucky in 1992.
Also quite accurate: no mention of a strong rivalry between Maryland and Duke (which was mostly one-sided when Maryland was in the ACC).

The impending disappearance of this platform for the community that has formed here has made me acutely aware that I am everyone's weakest possible link. In my adult life, I have *never* had friends I could just call up and get together to do something, or even just talk. Can I call people here friends (in a true sense), or am I just some random guy who pops up on your screen every once in a great while, who you hope you rarely need to engage in any form of interaction?

If the definition of friends is someone you could/would just call up and get together, etc., then I was friendless as an adult, at least until I got married (age 32). And yes, at times I felt like a loser with no life. You're not. A good support group might help. What Meg sez.
