I reconnected with my high school sweetheart last week and he commissioned a bead for his wife. My choices were frog or sea turtle. I made both to cover my bases, and honestly it's the best frog I've ever done, but I am STOKED over the turtle. It will be interesting to see which he chooses.

happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me... Did you know it takes sea turtles about 35 years to begin reproducing? And that they go on very long journeys before that happens? They're sort of a personal totem. :)
