I HAVE 30 DAYS SOBER WHEEEEEE! It's kind of unreal how much has happened in the past 30 days. I'm going to celebrate by making up a mess of homemade ice cream... housemate turned me on to a secret easy way to make it without an ice cream maker, and it's soooooooo creamy & delicious!

30 days ago, I didn't know how to fill my days & desperately wanted a hug, but knew not one single person within 50 miles who would give me one. Now I'm running around like six chickens with their heads cut off, never have time to do laundry or dishes, let alone find a job, and can barely keep straight all the people I've met... That's not even touching on all the personal revelations that never come up in my previous sobriety. It's very hard at times, but overall I AM LOVING IT.

Actually Bette, this is creamy without lots of stirring. It's remarkable. Plus you can add basically anything to make different flavors. I toasted up almonds & coconuts for one flavor, it was a huge hit!
