Found out this morning that my great-grandmother passed away yesterday. Not 100% sure on her age but I'm fairly certain she was 98 or 99. The change she saw in her lifetime is almost incomprehensible and I will be fortunate to last so long. Miss you Mama Mary...

My love of hot toddies is directly because of her. If a 99 year old kept herself healthy by drinking them (the only time she would drink alcohol I might add), they're good enough for me!

I'm pretty OK; we were fortunate to get to see her when we were in TN for my grandfather's death in July. The hardest thing really is watching how these events are affecting my parents, especially my father who wear's his heart on his sleeve ever since his stroke. I've seen him cry more in the past 6 months than I have the rest of my life =(
