I alternate between 2 different chili styles of recipes (Cincinnati Skyline and Atlanta-Texas must-eat-with-cornbread chili), but I've been experimenting with dozens of chicken chili recipes. THIS one is the bomb! Changes: I didn't slow cook it, and I had the meat guy grind all white meat chicken, but otherwise, I followed the recipe (maybe added a bit more chipotle peppers in adobo). The results were fantastic! The cloves and cinnamon and shredded sweet potatoes (which are not obvious, but lend such great flavor) added an amazing dimension to the familiar chili flavors. - Jess

I love using buffalo meat in traditional chili. But the spices in this go better with chicken. I wonder if buffalo is as lean in fat and calories as chicken breast? - Jess
