When I briefly tried lunch workouts, I'd exercise first (for 30-45 mins) and then gobble food at my desk after. It was a bit trying. I now prefer to exercise at the end of the day.

I did it (cuz pool is right downstairs). Problem is, there is also a hot tub, dry sauna, steam room, nice showers ... so it is pretty tempting to linger.

Because of the intensity of my workouts, I have to time all of my meals right. So I don't take a break to eat. I pull out my "lunch" at 10:30am and eat while I'm working, so that by 1pm when my training sessions start, I am digested and have the energy to complete the workout. I then follow up with a protein snack to help with recovery and keep me going until I get home to make dinner. You get in the habit of treating breakfast and lunch as biological functions, and dinner like a proper meal. :)

Back when I was working, I'd nosh at my desk while working then use my lunch hour to either walk to the gym and work out (in one work situation) or go to a back room and use a video workout (in another work situation).
