Interviewed for the supervisor job (http://friendfeed.com/lostlo...) today with literally 4 minutes notice. On a very bad, feeling crappy day. I sounded like an idiot (my boss wrote down "barking orders [checkmark]" as my answer to one of the questions). Turns out the most competent (and oldest) baker interviewed too, but I'll be happy for her if she gets it.

But still, keeping my fingers crossed! She & I are also the only two to have been entrusted with the key to lock up. I've had it longer than she did, he told me to keep it :P

We're supposed to find out who got the job soon, maybe today... wish I could call in sick again *breathes into paper bag*

Good luck, Lo! Whatever the outcome, they interviewed you, you've been in this job for months and things are working out :)

Good luck!

MarkJ, you can have the deluxe kitchen tour anytime. Still no word on the job, but I am now the rep for the OSK (off-site kitchen) on the Employee Council. Hooray, I won my second elected office! My secret then, and now, is to run unopposed for a job no one wants but comes with free food :-P

If you guys can keep a secret, the kitchen manager is a notorious hardass who does unfair stuff to his staff (thankfully I have a different, awesome boss), and I plan to use the EC to make that harder. It has been a long time since I used Robert's Rules of Order to take down The Man, and I am quite excited. My first proposal is already on next meeting's agenda! It stipulates that if you change someone's schedule less than three days in advance, you have to tell him/her. Muahahaha!

Best of Luck, Lo!
