Definitely one of the western Red Line stations.

Tenleytown, on my way into work.

Oh, man. The escalators in DC sometimes freak me out.
- Laura
When I first got here, these metro escalators were like o_O. Now I'm only o_O when you get off the train, rush to the escalator and find out it's *not* working and you have to schlep your ass up that joker. Oof.
- Derrick
Most stations have elevators in addition to the escalators, but sometimes they're not working, either.
- John (bird whisperer)
Yeah, either that or the folks who don't want to bother walking (or can't due to disability or what not) are waiting for the elevators.
- Derrick
The Zoo escalator nearly did me in, but I had to hold it together because I thought my daughter was going to refuse to step on altogether. I wonder where the tallest escalator is? Is there a librarian in the house :)

I remember riding the escalator at Rosslyn station as a kid. The Dupont Circle escalator is another long one.
