Just say no to pine nuts.

I don't use pine nuts when I make my own, cause I don't love em and they're pricey...not much I can do if it's out my hands.

I like to substitute pecans. Then again, I also like to substitute rocket for some of the green part. I don't eat pesto out because I just don't like pine nuts at all.

I make different kinds of pestos. My go-to is walnuts for that portion, but I've used mixes of parsley, arugula, cilantro, other herbs as well as basil, sometimes almonds, pecans. Sometimes I'm using stuff up, other times I'm experimenting.
