Gotta say SFO's new Terminal 2 (American, Virgin America) might be best terminal in US now after the upgrades rest of the airport still blows. :) Lots of space, lots of light, lots of good unique food.

Oh god, I was annoyed by the food in the American terminal at SFO. Sometimes a person just wants something basic. Took way too much energy and effort to find basic food that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. I was much happier with the other end of the flight - the American terminal at O'Hare. Now that place is awesome. :D

Hmm Hookuh I am like you in searching for basic I can't eat most fancy food and don't like the rest but I had ample choices when looking around and the tacos at Andeleje (sp?) ended up being perfect under ten bucks for a meal and best tacos i've had in a while. But it's very subjective I know. :)
