Can't say I look like any of those people. Nor do my co-workers. Some interesting commentary on Twitter about those who were photographed. - Derrick
I guess This Is What Some Librarians Look Like And It Is Not Surprising Given Demographics And Such would not be such a snappy title. - Pete's Got To Go
It would, however, be quite the hashtag ;) - Soup in a TARDIS

Derrick, what are they saying? - bentley
That they seem to be this kind of hipster, young librarian type and they would've loved to see older people, or even people who conform to the cliche or stereotype of what a librarian is. There was a plea for the photographer to share all of the images, and that these are the results of a call for librarians to be photographed at Midwinter courtesy of Librarian Wardrobe. - Derrick
I wonder if other professions spend this much time thinking about what they look like or their image. - Mary Carmen
I'm going to guess not. Librarianship seems to have more navel gazing that most other professions, at least on this level. Usually when I see similar things in other professions the emphasis is on gender or racial diversity, not age, hairstyle, and sartorial choices. The last might be the natural result of having such a vast array of dress codes across the profession? Maybe? - Soup in a TARDIS
