I sleep with three pillows. All of 'em are flat, even the one that's a year old. I'm going to get a new one (or two) in the near future but have no real hope that either one of them will last more than a year either. Do your pillows get squished way too early in their useful life? Maybe I just need to established a pillow fluffing schedule o_O

i just got used to flat pillows. now i can't sleep with pillows that aren't flat.

My pillows tend to bunch into lumpy masses that are not comfy. I'm using a Sealy brand pillow now and find that it is too firm. Goldilocks.

I've been intrigued by those, LB! My first and most important question is whether or not it actually stays cool: waking up with sweaty bed head earned the easy way is no fun at all =/

I sleep with 3 pillows now, too, but only because the two were getting too flat. Now the 3 are nearing that stage of replacing or supplementing.

I have one huge pillow case and I just put all of the flat pillows in it. So I have gone from three flat pillows to one fat pillow.

I wound up with three pillows the exact same way, Chris: buying a backup for an existing pancake pillow. Dave has a memory foam pilly and really likes it, but I've never been able to sleep on my stomach with it.

I was having that problem, but I got some pillows from Target about 4 years ago and they're still fluffy. I think they were about $20/each. I had expected them to be flat by now, but they're not. They get washed every 2 - 3 months.

We bought memory foam pillows last year. The work great. I use an old flat pillow with the memory foam pillow over top of it. Works great. I hate how pillows get flat so fast. Doesn't matter if they're cheap or expensive. The memory foam pillow always goes back to it's original shape. I love it.

We get the $1 pillows from Ikea - they seem to be fine, fluffiness-wise, but I fluff every morning when I make the bed.
