I'm with Paul, Tom's of Maine makes a superior product (but it is pricey, esp. if you get Glide from Costco in the monster-pack). Actually, the original Glide used to be quite good - but after Crest acquired it, I think they started messing with the formula, it fell apart much more and had much less plaque-cutting power. - τorƍue

My hygienist said that flossing with Glide is better than not flossing, so if people like it they're not about to badmouth it, but really it's not all that useful and you should be using something less, um, smooth. - ⓞnor

My dentist forbids me to use floss! He says Oral-B Satin Dental Tape is the only one to use. Tape seems to clean much better than floss. After using tape and then using floss again it seems like the floss hardly does anything. - Michael Muller
