Tuesday it was Superfly's birthday. I baked five kinds of cupcakes (four invented just for the occasion) so he could build a pirate fort out of them. IT WAS DELICIOUS.

Wow, I've never seen cup cakes baked in cake cones!

Spidra, I read about it in Joy of Cooking. It works great! The cones are like asbestos, they don't brown at all when baking, and they are even cool enough to handle straight out of the oven. They do get a bit soggy, though. It was also neat to have a cake that could fit 28 candles. Usually you don't get your age in candles after adulthood, which is kind of sad. When I'm old, I want 85 candles!
