Even though I've probably already posted ALL THE THINGS about me and I'm late to the party (blame Europe), but, Please, #askmeanything!
Will you marry Melly? - Stephen Mack
I'm up for a sister wife. ;) - Jenny H.
Where did you learn to ski? - MoTO Boychick Devil
I started alpine skiing in Idaho and cross-country skiing in Norway. :) - Jenny H.
Favorite of the two? - MoTO Boychick Devil
Cross-country, I think. More to see, less anxiety. - Jenny H.
Fact, talent, or experience we probably don't know about you? There has to be something. Go ahead and think about it. I'll wait. ;P - AHnix (Anna Haro)
Yeah well riding frictionless sticks over frozen death seems like the Definition of anxiety inducing terror #kidstoday - MoTO Boychick Devil
I'll try for all three, Haro. Fact: I grew up on a potato farm. Talent: Making people laugh. Experience: I was recently kicked out of a Norwegian tribute band concert for being too drunk. Shame, I know. - Jenny H.
haha! Thatta girl! :D - AHnix (Anna Haro)
B, I know what you mean. I only did easy runs when alpine skiing. Despite what some of my previous activities might suggest, I am not an adrenaline junkie! - Jenny H.
I'm a hell raiser, Haro. ;) - Jenny H.
What is the best short story from your fire fighting days? - Back to just Joe
That's really hard because I have so many firefighting stories! I'll share a good moment with you: when you are assigned to a fire, there's sort of a hierarchy of who is the best, next best, worst, etc. So many times I've worked around hot shot crews and all these tough guys on fires, but I've always been on the crew that busted ass, day after day and slept out on the ground. We never set up tents and used to secretly laugh at all the prima donna crews with their tents and "personal hygiene." Okay, kidding about that last one, but I have spent many two week stints with only baby wipes and a toothbrush to keep me clean. My best story is from the summer of 2013 when I had to work on the fire that nearly burned down my house, but I'm not ready to write down that one yet. - Jenny H.
I do remember when you (and your crew) saved your own house. - Back to just Joe
And thanks for the wonderful pics during your firefighting (ff) days. - Back to just Joe
Of course! I have to give major thanks for FF having my back when things were really, really tough! - Jenny H.
What do you love most about Norway? - Kristin
Public transportation/walking everywhere. I love that I don't need a car! :) - Jenny H.
Anything you didn't expect to miss from the States, but do? - AHnix (Anna Haro)
Tons of cheap options at the grocery store. Eating out. It's just so freaking expensive here! The good thing is learning how to cook everything from scratch. ;) - Jenny H.
Which do you think will get you first, instant karma or the rhythm? - Corinne L
How many fire gods have you slain in Scandinavia? - Steven Perez
First concert? Best Concert? Favorite musical artist all time? - Steve C, Team Marina
Instant karma, Corinne! No gods yet slain, bunneh. Steve, my first was Bryan Adams (>_>). Best was a tie between Arcade Fire and Metric, but so many good ones to choose from! Favorite artist? No way. I have a roving top ten, but I can't say X is my favorite. I'm terrible at that sort of thing. - Jenny H.
Song that makes you feel like the sexiest, baddest bitch ever? - AHnix (Anna Haro)
Hmmn, sexy is tough because I never really feel that. A few songs that will bring out the beast: "46 & 2" by Tool, "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen, "Fire" by Kasabian, and "Midlife Crisis" by Faith No More. I love rocking out, I love dancing. When one of my jams comes on and I'm running on liquid courage, I will dance and rock out like one fierce motherfucker. I don't really know where that comes from. My dad was a rocker, but I was so shy growing up. I've always loved singing and dancing, but I've gotten fiesty over the years! :D - Jenny H.
If you had to pick one swear what would it be? - Pete's Got To Go
"Bastards!" It's my favorite! - Jenny H.
Best compliment ever received? - AHnix (Anna Haro)
Whenever my kids tell me I'm a good mom. Runner up is when Eivind tells me I have a beautiful soul. :') - Jenny H.
