At the end of Prometheus, several people near us in the theater were saying, "I never saw the original." How can you like horror movies, but never see Alien? DOES NOT COMPUTE.

When I was growing up, my family watched Aliens every Mother's Day. I still remember the year when I was ready to watch it with my eyes open!

To be fair, seeing Alien only would have made you hate Prometheus.

I was talking to a buddy of mine who loves Aliens, but feels the first movie is "dated and slow". He also hated Prometheus.

I love Alien and Aliens.....I'm not sure I hate Prometheus, but I did not love it.....and I really wanted to.
