If we have to go to a shelter it won't be in some nice family section, Jayden will be 17 in 2 1/2 weeks so he would have to be in single men's housing and I would go to single women's housing. We probably wouldn't even be able find beds in the same shelter.

And in December or January, there may be no shelter beds for singles at all.

I'd make y'all come live in our spare room before it came to that.

Thank you Mary. I love you.

My brother & sister in law are the only other people I know with a spare room. When we were homeless they wouldn't let us stay with them, they said Jayden was too much to deal with and they needed the spare room for when her mom & brother visited. So since this crisis started I haven't even talked to them about what's going on. They can't be bothered to even check on us.

Well, they suck. And I'm serious. I would not let that happen to you. If I have to drag you here I will :-)

I really hope you don't have to go back to a shelter. I hated seeing families broken up like that when I stayed at one. It's really unfair to the kid.

I saw that happen too. If it ever actually came to that I would advocate for an exception based on his special needs status. But getting special treatment at a shelter is dangerous, too. I got targeted because as a diabetic i was allowed to keep cottage cheese in the refrigerator for between meals and those bitches would steal it or put cigarette butts in it and talked hella shit about me.

Oh dang, honey. Really hoping it doesn't come to that. And, I second what Tamara said about MC and Scott.
- AHnix (Anna Haro)
MC & Scott's house could be dangerous, what with homemade bread & adorable babies & such. ;-)

And I'm pretty sure I'd have at least a couple months to fight if someone's going to try to force us out.
