I hate Facebook. I always hated the company, but now I hate the content. No one's traveling to cool countries anymore, just talking about their careers, having babies... every time I go there, it's like reading Death of a Salesman 14 times in five minutes. Ugh.

I always feel like Facebook is talking at each other, here it feels like we talk with each other. I like hearing the little details of people's lives because we share and chat about the other stuff too. - Jennifer Dittrich

The people whose posts were about nothing other than their kids or careers were the first ones I started unfriending on FB. The teabaggers went next, followed by the critical asswipes. Now my FB is a glorious conglomerate of interesting people that I'm happy to be able to keep tabs on and chat with. Right now I'm getting to read updates from one of my gay boyfriends who is 58, got laid off last year, moved to Brazil to live with his 24yr old boyfriend, and opened a school to teach English.
