Into Doctor Who, British music from the 60s to now, British sitcoms and anything British pop culture. I'm a total Anglophile. :P
I wanted to kick one of my British friend's asses last night. I posted how I really loved watching the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations and he said if she ruled the US, I would think differently. Is he the only Brit who doesn't like the Royals? I just enjoy the celebrations and I've always been into British culture. :)
I just saw a figure that 80% of Britons support the monarchy, which is a hefty majority but not all. I know several who aren't very enthusiastic about the Jubilee.

Was watching a live cam of a birth of Schnauzer puppies and sadly, one of the puppies didn't make it. My heart goes out to the owner, Vera. Also, my heart goes out to Miss Panama, the mama. She so far has one healthy pup and three more to go.

Vera is a reputable breeder who is trying to breed Parti Colored (black and white or brown and white) Schnauzers. She's been doing this for 30 years.

I just defriended my sister and e-mailed her and told her (nicely) that I appreciate her help, but I was getting stressed by the comments she's made about things I post on Facebook. I love my sister to death, but I had to draw the line somewhere. I'm really upst about it, because I don't want her to take it personally.
She's helped me so much and I'm in tears right now, because I don't want her to hate me for defriending her and telling her what I think of her comments. I was nice, but I don't want her to stop helping me when I need it.

I can't even fucking post on my Facebook page anymore, because my sister is e-mailing me to chill out because it's getting too "negative." I don't know what to do. I can't tell her it's MY facebook page I can post what the fuck I want. I'm about to xdefreind my sister. She's helped me so much, but I'm getting sick of her commenting on what I write.
Why can't you tell her it's your FB and you can post whatever you want? IT IS!

I love my sister, but sometimes she can get on my nerves. She is well intended with her advice, but she just irks me. She told me I should get off the internet and TV for a while. I can't do that. I have lessened my internet usage and don't watch that much TV. I can't tell her to shut up, because she has been a big help.
My colon is screaming at me. :(
I've been watching Dr. Who on Justin.TV (the classic Dr. who) on the channel, nurse_what channel. Right now, they're showing the old William Hartell episodes from the 60s. Earlier, I was watching the Sylvester McCoy episodes. <3 it. Only problem is, they've been keeping me awake at night, because I don't want to stop watching.

WTF, Game On! on TWiT was cancelled. Even though I'm not a huge video game fan, but it was entertaining to watch Brian and Veronica. Also, Shut Up and Play is cancelled. :( No mare grudge matches.
Oh Dr. Who is my healer. *lol* I've been sick today and discovered on Justin.tv Dr. Who. One with Christopher eccleston and one with Peter Davison. Two seperate "channels". Love it.
My Mom's OM team didn't win, they got 3rd place. This means they don't go to Ames, IA for the World's.

Okay, today I was watching Tech News Today on the TWiT Network and I heard something about how Spotify isn't going to put a 10 hour a month cap on free users in the US. I'm happy about this, but why did they do it? Was it because of they haven't gotten all of the agreements with the music industry, or is it their relationship with Facebook?
All I know is Im going to continue enjoying it. I can't use the mobile app, which is fine, but I can enjoy it on my computer. I have enough radio/music apps to last me a while. *lol*

I must be in a nostalgic mood, because I'm into listening to Your Class Reunion: 1978 on and off this past week. <3 it. It's on Radio.com.
Irrational Self: I so want to get Sirius-XM I'll do anything to get it.
Rational Self: I've got so many radio station apps I really don't need Sirius-XM. Take Radio.com with the Classs Reunion stations, they are like the 70s on 7 and 80s on 8, but better, because they're in individual years like the one I'm listening to right now 1978. :)
I shouldn't have done the 7 day trial for Sirius-XM because I'm hooked on it and the trial ends on Friday. :( Wish I had the money for the month subscription, but right now, my finances are not good for any subscription services. *hrumph*
Oh man, I miss satellite radio! When my dad retired from truck driving he gave me his gear, there were 6 months left on the subscription & it was SO not long enough :(

If someone offered me a deal to get Sirius-XM for a year I'd take it. But I've decided that I can get a lot of the same stuff on my radio apps. (Except I will miss Party 360 With Dave Kendall on 1st Wave on friday nights.)

I have a banking question for those who know: Today, I received a social security disability check that had my address from a couple address ago and it was dated March 13, 2011. It was around the time of my move last year. My question is: will the bank deposit the check for me, or won't they cash it since it's more than a year old?
Never had this type of thing happen and don't know what to do.
