The notifications settings of the desktop notifier are really useless due to not enough options. And more, they erase the website's settings.

I create one to follow each Twitter account I want to follow. Same use for blogs/rss which aren't on Twitter.

I have some Twitterers, but mainly it's for Flickrers. As TH says, FF is a great platform for consuming Flickr. Now, if only I could get all my Flickr contacts in.
