Our next door neighbor who cat-sits for us told me "It's an honor to take care of such an old cat and make sure she's happy and comfortable." I had two thoughts: one, I wish I felt that way about picking up poop, and two, we can never move.

We're going away again in two weeks, and I just sent her a note asking her to catsit again, half-apologetic for asking so soon. She just texted me "Don't worry about a thing, I am not worried about a thing. We are friends and neighbors so that makes us kinda like family, and family don't worry about a thing!"
