Well, that was unexpected! - Three days in, and I have completed step one of three to making bread pudding for dinner with friends. Good thing they postponed the dinner to Friday!

It got really big. That was probably the most unexpected part of all. I don't know what I thought would happen, but when I opened the oven it was like WHAAAAAAAAAAAT.
