What type of brace? I'm looking for something that will offer a bit of stabilization and protection without costing more than my skates =/ - FFing Enigma

I have one that's a neoprene one that i wear when playing baseball or basketball but it's pricey and more for keeping it warm as much as anything and basic stabilization http://www.amazon.com/EVS-SB0... (I find the thicker strap underneath scrapes less). The first one you linked is the one I've been looking at. In the realm of shoulder braces (that I've seen) it's actually not all that pricey. Not as much as this one at least http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product... - FFing Enigma

Yes I've given up on dicks and big 5 (that sounds not so good) and stick with amazon. Bought both braces there the comments seem pretty accurate about them so they might be of help if you do the search on amazon for the brace you think works best for your needs. - Steve C, Team Marina

I actually think the lower priced brace (the first one you linked)would work better for my needs since it has a pocket to insert a hot/cold pack right where my bone is bruised. - FFing Enigma
