I've accepted that we've ruined her by letting her sleep in our bed. She slept the entire night with her feet between our heads and her head kinda under the covers. This kid.

Apparently she will sleep all night in our bed. Yesterday this entire family slept in until 10 and it was glorious.

Nowt wrong with co-sleeping. We did that with our kids and they both had rather painless transitions to sleeping alone in their own beds later on.

I've done co-sleeping with all three of my boys. No regrets.

You learn to sleep with toes in your eyes and knees in your back. It's almost restful...

Just make sure you have a big enough bed. This arrangement could last for years.

The 6yo slept with one or both of us until he was 3, and then on a mattress beside our bed until he was 4 b/c it meant more sleep for everyone. I don't miss the nightly wakings one bit, but b/c he was with/by us, I do have fond memories of some epic and hilarious middle-of-the-night philosophical discussions.

As the leader of my mom's group used to say, "Do what maximizes sleep for the whole family." Plus, middle of the night snuggles are the best.

Hey, if it means you're all sleeping, NEVER STOP.

had to boot mr3 last night because he was running his choo-choo train up my back... but besides that.

I'm loving this thread.

We have a cal-king. Between two adults, three cats and one toddler we fit fine. Can't wait to add another kid into the mix.
