I didn't notice this when I took the photo but that isn't 1 guard walking. It's 2 in nearly perfect unison. Click on the original size to see their swords off by just a few inches.

What's the point of the guys with the swords? Are they just for show? Clearly the *real* guard is the guy with the machine gun!
