The Adjustment Bureau is based on a Philip K Dick short story that came out in 1954, so I'm not sure who is ripping off who.

but if events in the future can alter the past (https://friendfeed.com/science...) then clearly Mr Dick was riffing on the observers who were riffing on the watcher

I want to see it, based on the cast and source, but I'm a bit concerned that the studio pushed it back to March - it was originally supposed to come out last fall. Sometimes that's not a big deal, but often it means they don't think the film is good enough to compete in the fall.
