Some observations from a lot of listening to Sirius Classic Vinyl:
This station has a serious hard-on for Led Zep. - Mary Carmen
I definitely wanna visit the R&R Hall of Fame. - Mary Carmen
I still really hate the Eagles. - Mary Carmen
I think I may have to switch to Deep Tracks to hear a better variety of music. - Mary Carmen
good call. I love the deep tracks station. Also you may want to try 3wk classic rock internet radio station. - ♫Maurice the Dolphin♫
My favorite station is The Underground Garage. Some great programming there. - Mary Carmen
My dad and I fight about The Underground Garage all the time. - kendrak
Programming choices? - Mary Carmen
The Underground Garage is my jam. - Hookuh Tinypants
My dad loves Little Stevie, I take issue with the monicker "Underground", but I'm also very, very into relatively obscure 60s garage music and garage revival music that is a certain aesthetic, so I'm not really the target audience. I'm trying to be less dogmatic in 2015. - kendrak
The one thing I noticed about Sirius driven station now that I didn't have a problem with when it was XM radio is that Sirius has much narrower playlists. - Eric @ CS Techcast
Kendra, I totally get it. I'm not sure that The Sonics are underground anymore.....I've definitely heard some bands that I was questioning that classification. - Mary Carmen
This is where I recognize by musical upbringing has made it difficult to interact with wider audiences. (Though it is weird how more people remember The Sonics as the PNW garage kings than the Wailers or the Kingsmen.) I applaud Little Stevie for helping out a lot of new garage-y bands by recording them and playing them, but the bands tend to the tamer side, and the production is too slick. I guess not everybody can rip off The Milkshakes. - kendrak
Riffing on MC's first comment: Has there ever been a hard on that wasn't serious? #InquiringMinds #AsTheGreatManSaid_MarinateOnThatAWhile - MoTO Boychick Devil
