No worries. I wondered if it was real, when I saw it. Shame about the bad reviews of the place, though...

Hoping that updating it will also fix the "Invalid certificate" problem, when trying to connect to FaceBook's XMPP service...

Hmm, so it does connect, eventually (with Pidgin 2.10.7) - but it does so excruciatingly slowly. Need to upgrade to 2.10.10, anyway...

Hmm, and Windows 8.1 seems to have broken connecting to IRC in Pidgin. Now, it just hangs; and eventually, I get an error message...

Curiously, although things seem to work fine, post-update, VMware Player gives me this notice...

I've been looking at 24-bit audio, and things like FLAC studio masters, a while ago, too. Now that's interesting stuff.

I think they're more of a social phenomenon, really. Wouldn't rate them for sound quality, or longevity/reliability. :)

Haven't experienced them, but it seems that there's some excellent decks, out there. So much for a dead format.

I hear rumours that you can play Ogg Vorbis, and FLAC files on some BlackBerries, too - but I haven't tested it.

141 tracks, spanning 10 albums (so average ~13 tracks/CD), at a total of 445MB, so far. Sounds great, too.

On that note, my sister's wanting to buy an iPod Touch - so I've spent the last 30mins ripping her CDs to HE-AAC/Pulse.
