As to Emv cards we've all known what's coming but prime roll out afaik won't even start till late 2015 and if you think everyone, every merchant is going to jump on it you're way overestimating consumers caring. Kickstarter has had to add a whole new level of proofing before letting vaporware into their system. At the end of the day its all a gamble and we're sharing the risk, if you don't like the risk then don't gamble. Even sure bets aren't 100%. If theres anything I've learned this year its even if you have everything in order you can still go down in a flaming ball of visceral fire. "This is an awesome trip down memory lane. My father drove us all around the southeast and old videos of Bob Hope on a bungie-corded early VHS player (today you'd think of it as a land bridge) in the back of the van, a cassette book of Time Life's Decades to educate us musically, a solid supply of 8-Track hits, and the CBR for being a road warrior. We watched for smoky, we talked to truckers about incidents, and more. I'll have to speak to my dad if he had a handle--as a Doctor he often found himself a roadside medic and helped out when he had to and I have the feeling he was one of the classic 'Docs' on the air. Meanwhile I was Snakeeyes for my love of GI Joe, haha. :D Anyhow, this was a fun trip to engage my own memories and I'm glad you shared yours!" - Andy Ciordia
