As to Emv cards we've all known what's coming but prime roll out afaik won't even start till late 2015 and if you think everyone, every merchant is going to jump on it you're way overestimating consumers caring. Retailers will care first but will require tech upgrades once they do. Broad adoption in the US is probably 2017.
