So, after reading about the Friends findability problem (http://friendfeed.com/lsw...), I thought to myself "self, you've only seen an episode here and there, mostly late in the series. Maybe you should try watching this show from the beginning". How did this thing ever last 10 seasons? I'm trying to give it a fair shake, but 6 episodes in...

It had some sharp comic timing and huge guest stars and a talented ensemble. I was never hugely into it but I watched maybe 30 episodes. I think it was more successful overseas than here, and it was a huge success here. But comedies are much more idiosyncratic than dramas -- they have to hit your humor sensibility just right. - Stephen Mack
