"Wouldn't it be great if you could get all of the convenience and pleasure of instant noodles—the portability, the just-add-water cooking, the lunch-sized portions—but pack it full of fresh vegetables and real, honest-to-goodness flavor?
Here's a secret: you can, and it's easier than you think."

"Today, I'm going to keep the talking to the minimum, walk you through one flavor—Spicy Kimchi Beef Flavor—give you basic instructions for the other three flavors—Chicken and Dill Flavor, Vegetable With Sesame-Miso Soup Flavor, and Thai Coconut Curry Shrimp Flavor—and leave you a few helpful tips for designing your own instant pot noodles because really, this is a method more than a strict recipe."

You can quickly and easily make your own cup-a-soup with angel hair pasta, instant bouillon, and dehydrated veggie flakes. Just add enough stuff to make one mug full of soup, to a ziplock snack baggie (break the pasta in short pieces). You can store a few of them in your desk drawer for "emergencies".

Where does one buy dehydrated veggie flakes? When I look online, all I find is Amazon or other online stores or prepper supplies. Google-Fu fail.

Sometimes you can find them in the supermarket, in the spice aisle, or in a similar section of a $1 store. The jars are small, though. This is the brand I most frequently see: http://www.shopwell.com/spice-c...

Thanks. I had no idea where to even start looking. Spice aisle next time.

I've sometimes seen them in bulk foods sections, too.
