Ha. Still turned down anything stronger than ibuprofen. I just don't like the stronger stuff (and honestly, this doesn't need it). I do wish that I'd said yes to 1-2 stronger pills when I called the dentist's emergency line yesterday. But I didn't. Antibiotics are doing their job and root canal A, part 1 is complete. (to be followed by root canal A, part 2 and root canal B parts 1-2, maybe, but maybe not. That depends upon the situation in tooth 31 after the first of the year). - ellbeecee

though right now with the numbing worn off, I'm wishing again that I'd asked for something stronger. but warm compress, some orajel, and being fairly still help a lot and it will be much better in the morning ( and if it isn't, i will call in for something stronger). it's the injection sites for the anesthetic that hurt worst! - ellbeecee

Good luck! I actually took nothing stronger than ibuprofen for recovery from all my root canals (and, my extractions....) Hopefully you have the same experience. - RudĩϐЯaЯïan

I never have either, Rudy. And I'm much better now, than when I posted that last. No idea what made the difference, but my mouth is longer screaming about what the hell did I do to it and realizing that awful infection really is going away. - ellbeecee
