We also have a total of 3 Punisher movies, but I wouldn't mind seeing them try again to see if they could actually get it right this time (the original 80s one was the best of the 3).

It would solve more than a few issues with copyright. That way, Sony could make movies with Peter Parker, and Marvel/Disney could have Miles Morales. But I fear you may be correct.
