2010 is hands-down the most eventful & educational year of my life so far, and I'll be sorry to let it go. I want to make a video sharing everything I learned, and all the places I did crazy dances... but instead I'll curl up & finish this book. No one would believe it all.

Just finishing book 3 of the His Dark Materials trilogy... these books are INCREDIBLE. Better than I remembered, and only now do I see how much they shaped my philosophy toward life. Love 'em!

The #1 lesson, and I have convinced NO ONE of this, is: Money is a trap. I am *so* fortunate to have learned this at my age. Many people already know it, but those that don't just refuse to believe. I had to see it with my own eyes.

There are others... own your crazy, what other people think of you is none of your business, the best investment is in yourself, second best is friends, common sense is just that - common & often worthless, being responsible is overrated, most people base all their decisions on fear & that's dumb, it's great to be useless, hang out with people who aren't like you, tolerance is good but some people are not worth your time, and lots of things I realized about myself but are probably true for most people.
