Some techniscenti are saying "I didn't really want a big phone but now that I have one, it's great!" Well, of course you're saying that. You spent a gazillion dollars on a big phone! What the hell else are you going to say?!

How do you fit it in your pocket? That's my question.

You buy new pants.

If I can put the Nexus 7 in my back pocket (which I do, very often), I'm sure I could put the Note or the Lumia 1020 in one of my pockets.

For me it isn't about pockets; it's about being able to hold it and do at least basic functions one-handed. My hands aren't big enough for the larger phones.

I suspect some of you men aren't familiar with the way pockets are done in women's clothes when there even are pockets. The hand size issue is a problem for me, too, though.

going by my wife's clothes, it's so rare that women's clothing even HAS pockets. what really blows my mind is when they design in FALSE pockets. that's just cruel.

My Note fits quite nicely in my shirt pocket, even with the case I bought for it.

I was a big phone skeptic. I still wouldn't buy a huge phone, but the iPhone 6 doesn't feel as large as I thought it would because of it's thinness. I can't do the math, but I suspect that it's easier to hold than if it had the same thickness as the iPhone 4/4s.

Well for me it's about not being told what I ought to like or want.
