For the background on this code see ( http://friendfeed.com/ffhacks... ). By request (CAJ) shirt.woot (actually, *.woot.com) photo auto-select feature added. And Jimminy asked about getting youtube thumbnails working again. Done and done. Stephen's request was a too-tall order, unfortunately. The code that limits selections to a maximum of three images resides in the https://friendfeed.com/share... page, and even with a browser extension it can't be fiddled with because though DOM access is available, the page javascript is off limits—browser extensions are sandboxed. (It's a shame, too, 'cause it looks like a simple matter of changing: var kMaxThumbnails = 3;). Source gist: https://gist.github.com/wittman... Minified gist: https://gist.github.com/wittman...

I'm glad you found the max thumbnails, i had looked and couldn't find it.
- OCoG of FF, Jimminy
Trying to think of another feasible work around, but out of ideas.

*bump* for evening crowd.

Bump. Micah (or Jimminy): Micah, this is great. We should make a version of this that is easier to install -- I can host if need be, but having it behave like the one on the official FF page where all the user has to do is drag it to their Bookmark bar. I will investigate.
- Stephen Mack
Sounds good.

Oh, man. How did I miss this update? Time to update! EDIT: Updated and working fine!
- CAJ was here
*tips hat*

Micah you're a savior. thank you thank you thank you.

You're welcome, irene.

Bump for Andrew.

(And I never investigated what it takes to make it draggable.)
- Stephen Mack
Stephen, I also tried using this version of the bookmarklet; didn't help.
- Andrew C (see frenf.it)
Hmmmmm. Looks like one of my many many Firefox extensions is the problem, because restarting FF with all add-ons/extensions off fixes it. (and also fixes the regular Friendfeed bookmarklet too.)
- Andrew C (see frenf.it)
and now with all extensions back on, it still works. I don't know. Computers, man. Edit: no it doesn't, with extensions on it works only on friendfeed pages.
- Andrew C (see frenf.it)
OK! It was due to installing the Privacy Badger extension. Solution: let Friendfeed through.

Folks, you can now more easily install the updated 1.03 version by just dragging the image to your bookmark bar: http://friendfeed.com/ffhacks...
- Stephen Mack
Any way this one can be combined into it so it's draggable? http://appsapps.info/ff...
- April Russo (FForever!)
Micah you r my man! Thanks...
- orfe
Wow, that escalated fast. :) Welcome, orfe.
