Please Help a Grieving Family | Huffington Post - http://www.huffingtonpost.com/anthony...
“I have one purpose in writing this piece today: to unashamedly ask each of you to help the Clouse family rebuild their home and their lives in the face of pain and loss that most of us cannot fathom.” - Anthony Citrano
Sorry it couldn't be more, Anthony. As you say, words are inadequate. I can't comprehend the anguish of the parents but my heart goes out to them. - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
I hope the response is good. - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Thanks, WoH, very much. No real way to tell right now, but it seems pretty light. That's typical, though, of stories like these - the horrors make for good press, but not so much the journey of recovery. - Anthony Citrano
And there are so many competing horrors at the moment, too, that people get distracted away. (I wish the huffpo would make it easier to comment. Do articles with more comments get featured more? I'm not sure how it works over there). - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
You are *so* right - one thing I had almost written in my earlier comment is that I think people are probably dealing with "tragedy fatigue" .. it's OK, I totally get that. Honestly, if this one hadn't struck so close to home, I doubt it would be high on my radar either. But I gotta do what I can do, y'know? [Oh, and 'elevation' on HP is an editorial decision. I don't think comments can drive an article up.] - Anthony Citrano
I probably wouldn't have noticed this story if you hadn't shared it, Anthony. - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
